September 2008 Study Day

The September Study Day will be on 'Basic Lower Limb Venous Ultrasound' and will be held on Friday 19th September 2008 in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
The programme for the day is likely to look something like this:
09:00 Registration & Coffee
09:30 Clinical Presentations
10:00 Anatomy and Histology of Veins
10:20 Normal and Abnormal Physiology and Pathology
10:40 Coffee Break
11:10 Scanning DVTs
11:30 Scanning Varicose Veins
11:50 Pre-operative Mapping
12:10 Endovascular treatments
12:30 Lunch and Exhibitions
13:30 Demonstrations and Hands on Workshop
15:30 Discussion and Feedback
15:45 Close of Meeting
